Crypto is a handy fallback when banks get twitchy. We accept Bitcoin (BTC) and USDT on Ethereum for top-ups—both are available on the top-up page. Here’s the fastest path even if you’re new to wallets. ₿
Before You Start
- A phone or desktop with internet access
- An email address (for receipts/support)
- 15 minutes to install a wallet and clear on-ramps
- Optional: ID for purchase providers such as MoonPay or Ramp
1. Set Up A Wallet
Trust Wallet or Rainbow work great; any reputable self-custody wallet is fine.
- Download from the official site or app store.
- Create a new wallet and write down the recovery phrase.
- Store that phrase offline; never send it to anyone.
2. Buy BTC or USDT
Inside the wallet, tap Buy and pick Bitcoin or USDT (ERC-20).
- Choose a provider (MoonPay, Ramp, Transak, etc.).
- Pay with a card or bank transfer.
- Wait a few minutes for the asset to land in your wallet. Keep the receipt.
If your bank blocks the charge, call to approve crypto purchases or try another provider.
3. Grab The Payment Address
Go to dopaminegirl.com/top-up → choose Crypto → pick BTC or USDT. We’ll generate:
- A QR code
- A wallet address (long string)
- The exact amount to send
Leave the page open until you finish the transfer.
4. Send The Payment
- In your wallet, tap Send.
- Scan the QR code or paste the address.
- Enter the exact amount the portal shows.
- Double-check the first and last 4 characters of the address.
- Submit and wait for network confirmations (usually 10–60 minutes).
Heads-up: The network fee is paid to miners, not us. Bitcoin fees can spike during peak hours; weekends are usually cheaper.
After Sending
- Keep the transaction hash handy.
- The top-up page moves to “paid” when the network confirms. Refresh if needed.
- If nothing shows after an hour, email support with the hash and amount.
Troubleshooting
- Not enough for fees? Buy a little extra crypto to cover gas.
- Address mismatch warning? Stop, refresh the top-up page, and copy again.
- Provider rejected your card? Try a different provider or use the Card & PayPal guide instead.
Security Best Practices
- Only install wallets from official sites/app stores.
- Verify addresses character by character before sending.
- Don’t reuse addresses from old invoices—generate a fresh one each time.
- Screenshot confirmations so you have proof of payment.
